A sinking ship hit by its own people

Pros

1. Nice product idea capable of doing wonders. 2. Good business opportunity. 3. Honest people (until manager grade), management sucks big time. 4. Company pay scale is good but not sustainable.

Cons

Finally I've been fired on November 28 along with 22 other folks. This was bound to come and it is not surprising for the people working in Leapwork, because they are next in queue. My honest opinion: 1. Company is not profitable and can't turn profitable even in next 5 years. Limited money in account (probably can sustain for a year or so). Company is unable to raise next round of funding due to flawed execution and management. 2. The existing product is selling slowly but it can't turn the company profitable. The next product(s) lacks vision and it will take several years for them to be market ready. With each passing day the survival mode is getting tricky. 3. Most of the marketing folks are out (and being replaced), half of the customer success team is out, experienced product and engineering members are out. Things look good from outside but everyone knows, people are getting anxious and good people are leaving. 4. The only way forward for this company is to get acquired, which will anyways happen very soon, which will mean more firing. 5. Won't recommend this company to people looking for a change unless this is your last option.

Management with no transparency and dishonest

Pros

Management says they care and it feels like they care until they fire you by making false claims.

Cons

It is disheartening that this company has always run on groupism and brotherhood. General trend - a senior person is hired, they bring their own people and sideline people who were hired through regular interview process. Another senior person is hired, they again bring their own people. Suddenly the entire company becomes a feud ground between old brotherhood and new brotherhood. No one really cares for culture, hard work, ideas, innovation. Politics has reached to a new height. Management can't be considered as leader anymore because all they do is lie. Due to this, no two random employees trust each other. Employees are being threatened to work long hours to meet ridiculous timelines. It is sad to see such a workplace.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We’re genuinely sorry to hear that it has been a difficult one, and we acknowledge the pain and frustration it has caused. Your experience does not reflect the work environment we strive to provide at Leapwork. We believe in a culture of inclusivity, trust, and respect for all our employees, and it's clear that your journey with us fell short of these ideals. We appreciate your honesty and will keep your words in mind as we continuously work towards creating a better workplace for all.

Pros

The product is very innovative but it is not ready for large companies.

Cons

- Micromanagement and no work-life balance. - The culture here is toxic. - Competing in a saturated market. - Terrible health benefits. - Management doesn't approve time off. - They fire people for no reason. - If you look at former employees, they either leave to save their reputation or get fired for no reason. I guarantee you that the 5-star reviews that you see here are fake. They give you 10 days of severance to be quiet. This company really doesn't care about its people. Leapwork spent 6 times more than what it made in 2022. Investors are losing trust in the company. It's a disaster inside. No structure or processes. Inexperienced leaders and unrealistic target expectations. I hope you don't make the mistake that many of us did.
