Pros

- decent pay potential, but underpaid compared to competitors

Cons

- a lot. However, my main point here is take all the good reviews with a pinch of salt. The HQ read glassdoor, and have been known to add good reviews themselves (all reviews are anonymous so glassdoor won't know). - an example is the positive review about stability transparency, especially in COVID-19 times. This review screams of HQ. There was no transparency, with 2cohorts entirely fired, some individuals from another fired, with more threatened. I get times are rough but Kubrick were appalling in the way they treated individuals and are lying on this site.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, although we are sorry to hear your experience has not been so positive. We strive to be as open and transparent as possible with our consultants and introduced additional methods of communication as a direct result of COVID, to ensure people were informed of any changes. During the height of the global pandemic and unprecedented recession the economy has been experiencing, we did have to make some difficult choices. These were not reached lightly, and we took every possible step to avoid them. We do apologise if you do not feel we were transparent enough at the time. Finally, we would never leave a fake review on Glassdoor. We encourage our consultants to leave honest feedback regarding their experience, and actively promote internal feedback as we are always looking to improve and value your thoughts. If you wish to discuss any of the issues in more detail, we strongly urge you to contact your CRM or reach out to another member of the People Team.

Pros

Free training in relevant databases Location is good to network with other companies for future opportunities IF placed with a good company, IF, you might have a good opportunity to leverage the placement into full time after.

Cons

Lack of communication Tied to a contract for 2 years without having a voice as to what you do and where You can't cancel the contract without paying 20k, but they can at anytime Senior management does not even slightly care about trainees CEO frequently passes with his head down, as if we don't exist there, although I can understand why since I would also not look into the eyes of people that I'm giving horrible experiences

We are sorry to hear your experience has not been positive so far. As an organisation, we genuinely care about ensuring our employees are kept in the loop with any changes. Since COVID, we have introduced monthly company-wide webinars that are delivered by the senior leadership team and designed to keep staff updated, and always run a Q&A at the end of the session to capture any additional feedback/ensure the session is interactive. Your assigned Consultant Relationship Manager will also share information as and when it becomes available, so we can assure you are not being kept in the dark on matters. In terms of the training bond, we are transparent about this from the beginning and always ensure people understand why it is in place before they sign their contract. When we hire people, we take on a sizeable risk as we train you at zero cost and pay you a full salary for the duration of your training. As a business, we do not see a ROI from that investment until a consultant has worked on client assignment for a significant period, hence the need for commercial protection. We also take great care in ensuring the organisations we work with are suitable for our consultants, both in terms of projects and culture. If we felt a particular organisation was not right for Kubrick or our consultants, we would not partner with them. Once again, we are sorry your experience has been negative so far. If you would like to discuss this in more detail, we encourage you to contact your Consultant Relationship Manager, or reach out to reach out to another member of the People Team. Thank you.
