      Pros

      The company provides those who are growing in the user experience field to learn a tremendous amount about real world applications of various research technologies. You get to jump into projects and, based off of your ability and being proactive, are given increasing responsibility. I was at KLI for more than three years and went from assisting to leading projects and scoping work for clients.

      Cons

      Smaller company means you need to step up to the plate to manage yourself and how you can best contribute. You're not going to have a standard three year program like at a large consulting firm but you will learn a lot.

      interesting work, interesting clients, could be a fun atmosphere if the people were different.

      Cons

      Leadership, specifically the COO is a deceitful, manipulative, borderline sociopathic individual who has no business leading anyone from an EQ or IQ perspective.

      Great clients, which means challenging and interesting work Good benefits Really great, talented people Company is open with employees

      Cons

      KLI expects you to be billable full-time in addition to contributing to their internal goals. It's too much. Leadership openly refers to employees as family - which means appropriate boundaries are ignored and saying "no" to anything gets pushback.
