Fantastic firm, unmatched opportunities, incredible culture
Pros
- Impressive Client base: Kaiser’s clientele is impressively comprised of blue chip companies, and has in the past and / or is currently working with many Fortune 100 companies. - Unmatched opportunities and Professional development: The opportunities Kaiser provides its employees is unmatched. When you prove your mastery of certain competencies (ability to own projects, handle client presentations, manage teams, etc.), the firm allows you to take on more responsibility and in that way, you can “chart your own course.” The exposure to clients so early in your tenure is truly unique. - Incredible Culture: The culture at Kaiser is, at once, collaborative, entrepreneurial, and collegial. This stems from the personalities and attitudes of senior leadership — each partner has an “open door” policy, and they together create a warm, approachable environment for all employees (regardless of level). Further, the firm has ongoing initiatives to promote socialization outside of the office (happy hours, retreats, etc.) expected to pick up again to pre-COVID levels once determined safe.
Cons
WLB can largely be attained and is far better than what can otherwise be attained at other consulting firms. There are some harder weeks (e.g., 60+ hours), as to be expected in this industry but those are kept at a minimum
