Pros

At least it is a legit company

Cons

Where do I even start. This is a startup that has wasted their first 3 years because the founders do not have a focus on what they want to achieve out of this whole thing. They got the investments, the money, the nice designer logo, the Forbes award and even a visit by the president to the warehouse recently. But at the end of the day they are but a company that severely lacks direction and focus. A search on Google will tell you that Janio seeks to be a technologically driven disruptor in the logistics industry - the only thing they have managed to disrupt so far are their customers' livelihood by failing again and again on the logistics front. Their systems developed are hardly ground-breaking nor are they robust enough to suit the various customers. When it comes to the actual logistics you can have more faith on your usual GRABFOOD delivery dude than expecting seamless delivery from these clowns. The company is staffed with high-profile Heads who in my opinion did not manage to cut it out there and ended up here to be "tribe king" in a fishing village. (Just go LinekdIn and check for yourself) Key executive appointment holders are friends of the founder. I have no issues when they are performing up to what their title says they do but when they are not even able to resolve simple long standing issues within their department then we have a problem. Middle executives are often left in the lurch to fend for themselves after being put on projects and deluded into believing that they have autonomy over things when in actual fact is simply an act of responsibility pushing from the senior management. Ground staff welfares are overlooked and the company hardly care about their working conditions or if they are equipped with the relevant skills and knowledge and coaching to accomplish their jobs. The founder hides himself all day long in his cozy office and hardly interacts with anyone apart from those in his inner circle. The other founders also do not seem to know what they are doing in terms of tech and marketing. To be candid, all the founders will not cut it out there in the real corporate jungle as after so many years they do not seem to have learned the finer aspects of running a company. I may sound harsh stating the above for a 3 years old start-up but I believe the mismanagement of both employees and customers is absolutely revolting. Sure. If you have tried landing a job after 250 tries and Janio take you in then I say go for it but don't hang around for too long. If you are looking at picking up new skills, enriching your career, enjoy work, make friends then I strongly suggest you go try another 250 odd applications and have better luck there.
