Used to be a good company with clear objectives which is client focused. The only pro is that it is still a global company.... For now
Cons
Very badly managed with weak management and unclear objectives. Poor management of the resources available and bleak career progression in the near future
Pathetic senior management. Lip-Service and buttering is the key to success in JLT India (Pune to be precise).
No career progression. Too much of politics and poor mgmnt, leading to pyschological impact on a normal human being.
Decent work that is varied and can be interesting.
Skills you learn are transferable can be used to apply for other jobs across the country
Team can be friendly and good depending on staff you get.
No forced overtime and decent pay
Cons
Limited career progression and pay doesnt increase in line with inflation
Support staff are not treated with respect and often talked down do
Customer facing role meaning clients can often make unrealistic demands which can be stressful especially when certain things are out of your control and management do not appreciate this but expect you meet such demands.
Limited training opportunities
Good level of benefit
Lovely Colleagues
Free drinks (teas, coffee, squash)
Free fruit
Free massages
Free Pilates
Great Charity fundraising events
Flexible working
Cons
Salary isn’t competitive
Annual Bonuses non existent
Little career progression
Not mandatory to complete 9 hours for IT department.
No time sheet tracking.
Very less work load.
Cons
No growth in terms of Skills and career progression.
Inhouse projects which provide very less learnings.
Downgrading of skill set.
Getting a new job is nearly impossible after spending 2-3 years here as your skills set is now alarmingly low to crack an interview and salary has gone up than standards.
Adding to all the above - The IT Management is biased and favoritism is at its peak.
Poor pay review and career progression. Management ignore staffing requirements and suggestions that would be beneficial in the long run if they have to spend money in the short term. They would rather spend more money over a longer period of time.
