The company has an excellent and important mission, which is easy to motivate towards
It's generally well run, with senior leadership keeping teams focused on what's important while maintaining high performance and ethical standards
The people are very smart and hardworking, with relatively little work politics. Overall a great environment
Cons
As the company has grown there has been less attention paid to the needs of employees. The latest example is that the company has spent a lot of money constructing or renovating a few buildings and they either don't have locker rooms/showers or the ones that do have them are totally inadequate for the number of employees who need to use them for their bike commute or to play soccer, work out, etc. during the work day

Great place if you are looking to work on a product that has unique and challenging problems to solve spanning clinical, mechanical, software, mechatronics, user interface areas. Positive and honest workplace makes Intuitive a great place to work. The fact that the company is growing rapidly means you can grow with the company.
Cons
Long product cycles in the medical devices industry (not unique to Intuitive) mean it may be years before you see your work make it to the field.
