Working at Intronis was a poor career decision

At the first this seemed to be a legitimate small start up company with a great outlook considering growth in the market

Cons

You quickly learn your involved with a group of narcissistic psychopaths. The people in charge at Intronis have clearly watched too many episodes of Suits. I feel terrible anyone that falls into the Intronis sand trap.

Pros

Nice working atmosphere and great location. Regular employees are hard-working and work together well when allowed to. The product could be very strong and innovative with the right direction and talent behind it. It can be fun at times, and the work interesting and helpful to customers. Good "first job" sort of place if you're looking for that.

Cons

The senior management is schizophrenic, reeling from one initiative to the next. This is probably driven by the CEO who is young and completely unfocused with very little formal business experience or education. For sales staff, the focus is too narrow, and the lead generation is weak. The product is also weak, with no follow-though on a future path or effort to match and exceed competitors. Honestly, at the stage this company is, most investors/boards would have replaced the senior people, who mostly are still the founders, with more seasoned individuals. This especially applies to the CEO. Until that happens, this is one to avoid. There are better companies in the Boston area that are in the same space.

Great Culture, Competitive Pay, ideal location, ability to work independently with freedom to operate, hire from within

Cons

inexperienced management, delayed software releases, have made significant mistakes having to scale up their product from their file/folder to virtualization software, focused too much on several small events vs. the strategic conferences resulting in no ROI from marketing efforts
