Pros

I'm writing to say that at first I was a bit nervous to accept an offer from Intrepid Processing, but after praying about it, I decided it was worth a shot. I was fairly new to sales. I love the endless support and encouragement I've received from my recruiter and team and feel comfortable in asking for help closing sales. In the 4months I've been there, I've averaged about $4-5,000/month and have been able to support my children much for comfortably.

Cons

Understanding sales. Being a single parent, my toughest challenge was allowing my team lead to help me close sales because I wanted to do it on my own. Not every sale will close, but the ones that do will provide you with a decent income. Sometimes a business owner loses track of time and is out doing an errand, but most seem to reschedule without an issue.

Pros

It is a job, if you like being lied to.

Cons

this company was willing to hire me over the phone and knowing no information on me besides what I told them over the phone in a 15 minute interview. The next day they sent a package and I was training online in a conference call. this here is a red flag that a company will hire you with out every meeting you. the company has a lot of complaints under the name Certified payment processing.

Pros

Intrepid Payment Processing is a great entry level sales opportunity for the right candidates, but only if you qualify, have a positive attitude, a will to learn, work hard, and follow what they teach you. The bonus structure can be very rewarding and when it changes, it's for the better. Also, you have a very experienced team lead to lean on for support to help you close deals, which still get you paid 100%, but you still need to put in effort and interact and be personable, friendly, and build a rapor with the business owner and team leader in order for everyone to be comfortable and successful. The team leader is very upbeat, supportive and motivational, and happy to talk to the business owner to help close a deal. You can also get paid multiple times a week, the leads are already set in advance between corporate and the business owner, on going training, etc.

Cons

There are a couple of bad reviews and a misunderstanding. If you get a call back and Caller ID says CCP, that's Credit Card Processing, not Certified Payment Processing. Also, the parent company is First American Payment Systems. Rated 4.5 out of 5 with BBB. AGAIN, Entry Level Sales. Just because they offer you an opportunity and fully train you, doesn't mean you won't get NO's. That's sales for you. They tell you what the average new rep closes and makes in a week. The sales that happen are much worth it. Let your team leader help you close the deal. That's what their guidance is there for. Don't get frustrated if the first lead doesn't sale. Keep driving forward. Nobody ever climbed up a ladder by walking backwards.
