Interface is a bullying haven! People from around the world were being bullied while I was there. Even 1-2 years after I left, people were still being bullied. Ironically HR had implemented an anti-bullying course that every colleague had to take. It was obvious why! Even senior management were the bullies.
Interface have people that have been there for over 20-30 years. While that shows a sign of loyalty for some, those people are holding the business back from progress. It's not a progressive environment at all. Senior management who have been there for over 30 years do not hold the qualifications to be in the roles they hold. It's a boys club at the top, so they look after each other.
And forget about being supported! My manager had no clue of the value I could add, because he isn't qualified to be in the position he holds. Yet, other senior managers from other regions around the world could see the value I added and financed my projects.
They pride themselves on doing good. But surprisingly, when you look behind the scenes, it's a dark and devious workplace.
