Pros

From day one in my career at Interaction Recruitment I have been offered the training and support to succeed. Having never worked in recruitment before I came on board excited for the future but uncertain of the challenges that lay ahead! I faced all the daily challenges that recruitment throws at us but was surrounded by top consultants and managers within their specialism who always made themselves available. I very quickly felt like I was running my own business with the support of a fantastic team and brand behind me! The earnings shortly followed, through uncapped commission, achievable promotion prospects and huge annual, quarterly and monthly competitions. Progression is there for anyone who wants it and I love that whatever I put into my role I get back straight into my pay! There is a great culture at Interaction and anyone looking to find a long term career that will be rewarding and fruitful should consider an opportunity.

Cons

Expectations are high at Interaction, but this only adds to the earnings, satisfaction and fulfilment of working here. Interaction is also in a multi-sector growth stage currently and many of the growth plans will involve recruiting top talent from competitors rather than always promoting internally. However, in my personal opinion this has only led to stronger teams, better market share and better expertise never limiting promotion prospects for current employees.

Worst Recruitment Company

Pros

On-site parking but no other

Cons

Interaction recruitment is the worst company that I have ever worked for and I can list a hundreds of reasons why. There is a blame culture, no real training and they do not care about your well-being. During Covid, whilst all other recruitment companies have worked from home as instructed by the government, we were still made to go into the office every day AND invite candidates into the office. They should have been shut down for that. We were not given laptops if we had to self-isolate and when I mentioned I am living with a vulnerable person at home- no one seemed to care. Everyone talks about each other, and the general manager is a horrible lady who will write a stroppy email stating you haven't done your 100 calls today but will be pretend nice to your face. If they want people to be happy and have a lower turnover of staff, they should not treat their employees like prisoners but human beings, who have a life outside of work

Pros

They give you free parking in the town centre, I don’t really have much else to add here ! !

Cons

Where do I start? The owner was rude and has no respect for staff. The culture was dog eat dog, and the consultants are very territorial over accounts. There was a lot of conflict between team members. There is no real HR team in place, and big mistakes are made on payroll. A lot of staff walked out throughout the pandemic due to being poorly treated. Furlough was also abused, and for those who were not on furlough were made to work in the office regardless of government guidelines. The company is very disjointed. The few years I spent here were not the best

Pros

As a company we have a strong focus on developing our staff and will always look to promote from within. Having had a number of promotions myself I am a real ambassador towards this and Interaction really do allow you to design your own career path. We have an operationally focussed Management team who are really hands on and we make quick decisions, giving us the opportunity to work with some clients that our competitors are not able to due to their "red tape" culture.

Cons

We do have high expectations of our staff but in turn reward well for hard work.

Pros

Very supportive. Amazing commission scheme. Loads of opportunities to progress. Genuine supportive culture - celebrate success, coach poor performance. Took me on to recruit for a new new industry, and gave me loads of new opportunities that others may not have. Free parking, help to buy scheme, amazing incentives and company car scheme. Would highly recommend Interaction to anyone

Cons

It’s a high performance environment, which some people might find daunting, but that makes you push yourself more !

Pros

There are none, genuinely cannot summon one positive thought.

Cons

Toxic, toxic and toxic. You are reminded daily that you aren't valued. Horrible culture of office gossip and back stabbing. I was with them for a short period of time and left with a sever loss in self belief and confidence. Years and years of experience meant nothing to them. They recruited perms like temp production staff, used outdated marketing strategies, they mirco managed and had no problem attacking your personality when they saw fit.

Pros

Good company to work for with some really great people, managers and directors. Lots of autonomy to run your desk Flexibility Good bonus scheme Added bonuses if you’re liked by the right people

Cons

Culture and working atmosphere is completely dependent on the branch you are lucky or unlucky enough to work in. If you’re not liked by the “favourites” leave If your face doesn’t fit in with the “click” your life will be made very difficult regardless of how much potential you have Employee well being is not taken seriously at all No HR structure or any employee relation / wellbeing strategies in place or followed No induction, training or support provided Personally witnessed horrendous cases of bullying and harassment with no remorse or any consequences for the bullies Lots of backstabbing, gossip, unprofessionalism and bad work practices. Clients and candidates and potential employees lied to continuously Real shame as it can be a great company to work for Just some individuals are given too much leniency or power allowing them to drag the organisation down
