We have taken many steps since this review was written to contribute towards creating a positive working environment for our employees, who are our most important asset. From a recent employee survey and other feedback, employees trust our leadership team and feel that they listen and take action to address employee concerns and suggestions. We have definitely made strides in this area and place a value on employee welfare and overall company culture.

Pros

Ever since David Chan purchased Infantino from Step 2 in 2014, the company has gone through an exciting transformation. Step 2 was not investing in the company and everyone was very frustrated and concerned about the future. David Chan is fun loving, very passionate about his company and treats everyone like family. He also trusts and empowers the leadership team here in San Diego to manage and grow the business. It's an exciting place to work, especially if you are into product development, because we create 100s of new products every year. Plus you are developing all kinds of toys and baby gear stuff that is very rewarding when you see it on the shelf in Target or Walmart.

Cons

If you are used to working at a large company, you might struggle a bit here. You have to be very resourceful as Infantino is small and doesn't have a lot of support functions so you end up packing your own shipments, etc - doing things that you might expect other departments to do. This can take away from what you love doing but that's kind of how it is at a 'start-up' like small company. Also, many of the processes are still being developed as we grow - so there are a lot of growing pains but at least the teams all work together to learn from our mistakes. You also have to be prepared if your job requires you to collaborate with our Asia team as you may need to join in on after hours meetings due to time zone differences. The good thing is that management recognizes this and will allow some flexibility in your work week.
