Pros
Permanent Remote Work. Small team environment where everyone knows each other. Flexible Timings
Cons
The direction of the company is heavily controlled by a single person (CEO/CTO). Most decisions must go through one individual, creating bottlenecks and slowing down development. The same guy decides whether you will stay or not in the company. HR is non-existent or just for the namesake. They had only 1 client for decades, didn't even bother to create a sales/BD team to bring in more clients. They lost the same client and had to lay off so many employees. They were creating a game, but that also failed because only the CEO would decide how things would proceed. Don't expect a salary raise every year. The CEO will decide who will get a raise and who will not.
