Pros

The Australian time seemed attractive, but it is not.

Cons

Extreme micromanagement in this company of which management is very proud of. There is absolutely no job satisfaction or job security. Content lead and rest of managers are just horrible. Whoever joins this place, suffers. I have not seen any employee actually happy there.

Pros

1) Good breeding ground for new and upcomers. You're thrown into the mix and have a chance to learn from the bottom up. Leadership is flexible with your knowledge level and makes educated decisions to help you learn. 2) Working from home flexibility, PTO is pretty relaxed (14 days upon hire), rarely denied (if not ever) 3) Very regular meetings with your direct report to gauge where you are, they take a genuine look into your current situations 4) Stocked food & fridge. Office Manager often makes lunch for employees in the office 5) Regular events to try and have positive impact / cohesion as team.

Cons

1) PAY. In the summer of 2023 in particular, Imagine IT has lost several employees between Projects and SD. This in which generates more and more tickets. NOTHING has changed besides the final hiring of ONE entry level technician this month. Employees are fatigued, everything is promised, nothing is changing. 2) C Level is only numbers/profit driven. One of owners key words is "billable" whenever a question comes out. "This is billable". This in turn has an impact on #1 because they are pinching their pennies. 3) Ticket load is intense. Most days you are back-to-back on tickets with barely any breathing time or else you'd fall behind, causing peers to pick up slack, in turn, burning them out. Not all days, but 85-90% or so of days. 4) No real emphasis on retention. Imagine IT has lost several good employees. Will continue to lose more if they don't make changes. Big decisions take time, sure, but those decisions need to be made faster before GOOD employees start to leave. Causing unavoidable attrition in Partners, attrition in profit, and then Imagine IT C Level became their own worst enemy in terms of revenue.
