I have struggled in my past roles with consulting companies because their people, customers and what they do seems to be very transient. You'll work with one customer on one business area, have a good experience, and then move to another demanding customer who doesn't trust you and have a poor one. The team of people you work with are not often together and don't really feel like a team. And if the work stops coming in people are on the bench and then laid off. Idea Science is the opposite to that: * It's grown steadily and expanded what they do. * The business is built on trusted partnerships with customers. * There is a big effort to form a team environment - a fun group of people who want to help each other and enjoy working together. * The culture is driven from the top down and the bottom up, and everyone contributes to it. Peter and the leadership team have been super supportive. * If we have gaps between customer work we invest in creating products that solve customer problems and create future opportunities, which is cool. I didn't really know what I was missing until I found the team here, and I'm planning on staying around.

I started at Idea Science part-time whilst still a full-time university student and Idea Science have been incredibly accommodating to me throughout my degree and after completing. Not many organisations will hire an undergraduate university student and be understanding of balancing studying, work and life commitments. I have been lucky to be build many fantastic relationships with senior leaders and other teammates, even if I do not directly work with them. The Idea Science culture is open and all members regardless of position/experience are willing to help you, even if that means delaying their own work. Idea Science is a company willing to invest in their employees and based on my experience I can not recommend them enough. - History of employing students - will give people a go if they display drive and willingness to learn regardless of strict experience - CEO is friendly and goes out of his way to engage with all members of the organisation, regardless of your position/experience! - Great team culture - all team members are willing to help each other out - Mentoring - Innovative organisation - always willing to listen to ideas - Passionate team members - Great culture
