Pros

- As a *research* university, there are more professors than (graduate) students, which allow for great availability of funding AND mentoring for every admitted students.

Cons

- The lesser amount of students can be felt in a relatively less vibrant student life and collegiality, i.e. fewer people to exchange with, which should be a central component of graduate life. If you don't find a niche of research coinciding with an already established research group, there is a risk of spending much time alone.

Pros

Highly research-intensive and reputable in Canada Graduate students only The density of postdoctoral fellows is high

Cons

The location is far from the city. This location is in an industrial zone, so it does not feel like a university.
