Toxic and cult like

Pros

Honestly, the paycheck is the only thing keeping this place afloat. Strip away the competitive pay, and there’s very little left to justify staying.

Cons

- Cult-like culture where blind loyalty to senior management is valued more than independent thinking. - Managers who either don’t care or lack basic leadership skills. - Promotions based on favoritism and personal relationships rather than actual ability or performance. - Over-the-top political correctness that feels forced and insincere. - Disorganized work environment that makes even simple tasks frustrating. - Little to no real opportunity for meaningful growth unless you’re in the “inner circle.”

Pros

What should have been an amazing job was, unfortunately, a complete nightmare.

Cons

In my 20-year professional life, having worked for a number of organizations -- big and small, start-up and established, non-profit and for profit -- nothing prepared me for how bad the culture at IDEXX was, including BULLYING. Truly Unbelievable. This was a shame, since in its early years IDEXX was reported as being a great place to work. I experienced frequent and sustained bullying, especially from those in authority. When I left the company, I discovered other former employees who had also experienced bullying across various parts of the company. The HR department seemed to be largely "invisible" -- possibly because they were dealing with so much staff turnover, it felt like they had no time/patience for current employees, making it difficult to feel like you could approach them and be supported. Bullying seemed to be entrenched (and possibly accepted) within the company culture. Since leaving IDEXX and talking with other senior HR professionals, it quickly became clear that this type of behavior would be categorically rejected and promptly dealt with at any company with a normal, healthy culture.

Pros

The trainers only. Good knowledge and prof. if given the right information.

Cons

From the moment I stepped in the door in the office in Hoofdorp to the moment I left I was bullied by one of my closest colleagues. Got refused to go to toilet, breaks or lunch during training from same colleague , was told I was not a part of the " team" yet, on daily basis yelled at when offered to help out. When seeking advice from management or HR, they favored the bully and not the one getting bullied. I am still working on picking myself up after 6 months in hell. Just lost my apartment, and will be on the streets as I am still not healthy again after being bullied for every day for 6 months. No pros in this company when you have to degrade your self to pee on yourself because your college wont let you go to the toilet.
