Great connections for how small the company actually is, lots of free perks, great co-workers.

Cons

Worst CEO ever, not only abusive of power but took advantage of the fact that there aren't great labor laws in HK. Bad management and organization, bad business plan and brand management. Entire company has little to no experience or actual awareness of what they're doing. Pay is bad in an expensive city and extensive/expected overtime with no compensation. After I resigned, 8 other people also quit because of the conditions.

Cool Clients and projects Met some cool people that aren't actually horrible and broken inside Flexible work hours and schedule International Team

Cons

No management or leadership Do not expect any training or growth/opportunities unless you kiss a** Everyone with power are just friends - peak nepotism A lot of back stabbing- No transparent communication, everything is done behind your back and within closed doors Fake friendships over actual work Tends to just copy what everyone else is doing using "references" from ig SUPER low pay - but makes you do multiple role's work High turnover rate, with all feedback ignored by HR, do not bother saying anything. You'll just be ignored or silenced. No clear communication channels - will WhatsApp you at night after work hours. Do not expect any onboarding or support - you're left on your own to deal with everything and if you mess up you're to blame, but when you do well they will take the credit and $$$.

Sun House? It's kinda wild, honestly. Feels like we're all just putting on a show of being busy, but on the low, it's super stingy budget-wise. The editorial squad gets this random micromanaged attention from the top only when it feels like it, but otherwise, it's like our vp boss is on permanent chill mode, hardly noticing what's up day-to-day. Creativity's on a serious drought over here, and the vibe? Kinda toxic, not gonna lie. We're mostly catching vibes (and content ideas) from the cool kids like HighSnobiety, Culted, Complex, WhoWhatWear, StyleCaster, and Into The Gloss. Originality's taking a bit of a backseat, you know? We don’t even creatively create our own content anymore
