Pros

Fantastic opportunities for growth & development (both personally and professionally), great people, good benefits although too pricey, vacation/sick time is okay, flexible, offers tuition reimbursement (hard to find these days), free meals, opportunities to travel. If you put in the time, follow policy & procedure, get involved, work hard, are passionate, believe and stand behind what the organization stands for it is & can be a great place to work! F&B is a tough industry to be in!

Cons

Politics, too much emphasis on bottom line (yes it Host a for-profit organization), low level/ skilled management due to low compensation, we need to get better management on the field, too reactivate when should be more proactive, too many major projects roll out at once causing them to be ineffective or to fail, pay should be more competitive, more incentive programs needed for both exempt & non exempt employees, work/ life balance could improve.

Pros

weekly pay pays higher than most companies insurance; 401k; paid vacation/holidays free lunch allowance each shift

Cons

the management for this company freaky sucks. they don't try to work with your schedule, even if you call in sick and bring a doctors note it still counts against you which can cause you to get a write up! managers talk bad about some employees. might as well forget your life because you cant have one working for this company!

Pros

Good pay, some of your co workers are cool, pretty easy when you get the hang over everything, your regular customers are the best!

Cons

Let me just make this simple and hopefully short... SO MUCH DRAMA AND GOSSIP, no call no shows, poor management, can never take breaks on time, VERY short on employees, only $12 meal when a sandwich there is like 10 bucks and a drink is like 4 dollars, supervisors don't even know what there doing , supervisors are basically baristas with a blue card they don't even know how to make drinks right, management tells there employees all the gossip about other people to everyone in the company so you can't Even keep a secret. Other HMS host Starbucks come down to our store to help with our shortage that's how bad it is here. The utility's here are stressed out because it's either too much pastries or none at all.
