      Probably a good company but not in Hong Kong

      Pros

      Top management in London are supportive of staff who work hard and perform. They are the best part of the company.

      Cons

      Hong Kong for whatever reason (unlike Singapore) seems too isolated from London head office and not well controlled by regional senior management. Local Projects leadership is 'toxic' and Operations has turned over several MD's in the past 3 years. HR hasn't embraced modern practices for managing staff issues beyond talking. A lot of idle people sitting around writing emails.

      Great if you enjoy a challenge

      Pros

      Great people, highly motivated and skilled. A very challenging environment but rewarding and never boring. Don't expect hand holding - but help always given when asked for.

      Cons

      A bit of a dictatorship from the top - only one persons opinion counts! Somewhat impossible targets are set and then staff penalised when not met. In some departments - hard work = working very long hours with little respect for work/life balance.

      Pros

      None whatsoever. Super toxic environment

      Cons

      Toxic CEO who seemed it perfectly acceptable to scream and swear at other staff. Demanded things be done his way, when it went wrong, denied he ever insisted it be done his way. Gaslighting and creating a general toxic work culture which filtered from top management, down.
