      Pros

      What I love about working in Gitstart is the opportunity to solve complex yet very interesting problems with the smartest people around the world. Also the employees are allowed to work in a very flexible environment remotely and interact and cooperate with each other in the most flat culture where everyone's opinion matters.

      Cons

      Sometimes there can be some delay in communications between co-workers as they are located in different countries.

      Pros

      - biweekly 1-1s with your mentor to discuss personal growth - product ownership early on - mandatory code reviews for all PRs - really cool CI/CD pipeline - most devops are automated already - 50% women engineering team

      Cons

      - team members across different timezones so if you're based in Asia we sometimes work in European hours - early ownership = responsibilities = your responsibility to fix things when things go down = stress - startup salary - sometimes we do company hackathons which can get stressful as well
