      The dictatorial of Gibson.

      Pros

      - Harmonious work environment among lower management. - Strong shared organisational values among lower management. - Strong brand in music instrument industry.

      Cons

      - Micromanaging dictatorial CEO, paranoid, erratic and juvenile. - Sensitive communication regarding firing of management team was made public to set example. - Delegation to lower management close to nothing. Essentially leaving no room for "innovation". - Market share of organisation in strategic free fall with little done to address core issues. - Unrealistic expectations to revive dying brands in consumer electronics. Unable to meet market quality and pricing demands. - No internal growth. Global promotions regarding hiring and firing in hands of CEO. - No employee development in terms of providing training.

      Pros

      The name. Most of the people in the company are friendly.

      Cons

      Sad and miserable working environment, once in a short while will receiving email from HR that tells someone got fired. Future is unknown, because you might be the next one will need to pack the bag. Owner of the company (also current CEO) is lack of trust to his employees, and everything needs his approval for further action, which it's affecting in many areas due to the speed is slow. Direction from the company (CEO) could change any time and is unpredictable on what is the next or what is the right thing to do for the company.

      Pros

      Have met some incredible, inspiring and talented colleagues and leaders here. Global products and projects to develop and great international team.

      Cons

      Low morale. Handling of the company take-over has been devastating. Some of the best regional, talent has been either fired or walked out the door. Constant stalling on the restructure, and change program, which could have been very effective, has led to a lack of direction.
