Thank you for taking the time to share your positive review. Our traders and employees have significant upside potential, and we know the trading industry can sometimes require long hours. We appreciate all of your hard work!
Great technology and awesome tools. Surrounded by intelligent people to learn from.
Cons
Pay is about 70% of what other firms are willing to pay for talent. Also seems like the company doesn’t have money to pay employee raises probably due to regulatory fines Geneva has faced in the past. Long hours with no breaks are standard in this industry but the compensation is hard to justify the sacrifice.
Office space is a bit congested.
Flexible schedule
Can bring your own view and innovate new
Good facilities
Cons
Long hours
Work life balance is almost non existent
Ruthless business, you'd want to do well straight away
Geneva Trading Response

Thank you for your feedback! We appreciate your insights on some of the pros that make Geneva a great place to work. While we agree that the hours can be long at times based on the markets, many of our traders are motivated by the financial opportunities available. The trading industry is definitely not a fit for everyone, but those that have the passion, commitment and drive have uncapped earning potential. We have many traders who have excelled personally and financially throughout their careers at Geneva.
I really enjoyed the thrill of trading. There really is a flat structure and the atmosphere is really relaxed. You are your own boss. Once you are making money you dont really have to answer to anyone.
Cons
The pay and hours are shocking. Work/life balance.....there is only work, no life. Working hours for me 6:30am to 9:30pm, no lie. Base salary unsustainable.
Everyone is so secretive and there is no collaboration. Help is very difficult to find.
Friendly and collaborative culture. Everyone is willing to help you out with any type of question you have.
Growing fast and strong in technology and infrastructure.
Nice office space and well stocked kitchen
Cons
Long hours and stress level, which are common in this industry
