Pros

none, maybe just the friends made.

Cons

bosses treat employees very badly. always threatening to cut pay, spies on employees with cctv. when we work a long shift, they expect us to be standing 24/7 like we are gods. when we do something wrongly, they scold us without evaluating their own training methods or give constructive criticism. expect us to be gods and learn everything immediately. gelato quality does not match price point. they also have a super creepy worker that delivers stocks that sends weird texts and touches FEMALE workers that are between 18-20 (he is 30+). bosses should take note on it and fire him instead of letting him continue work

Pros

- Nice colleagues - Accessible locations

Cons

- Inconsistent procedures (constantly changing the opening/closing shifts routine, adding new tasks in jobscope due to new expansion) - Bad management (high turnover rate of part-timers due to micromanagement)

Pros

People except the bosses are friendly and nice, especially the full-time If you don't mind trashy management and want decent pay for easy work

Cons

There are so many... There are two main bosses and will be very friendly towards you and seem nice to be around. Bosses will say very promising things like if you work more will increase pay/give a bonus, but they rarely give anything. After working for a while, all the patterns will come out. They will start imposing fines of ridiculous amounts/threaten to cut pay in the WhatsApp group because the part-timers don't do things to their standard. For example; Forget to turn off the aircon overnight and get fined $100/Being late for 5-10 mins but fined $100. (MOM regulation states that you are only able to deduct the amount of pay equivalent to the time you're late) The fines are illegally imposed if you look on the MOM website, honestly don't know how they getting away with this. Micromanaging, they will scrutinize everything you do and will spy on the CCTV at outlets. Lack of welfare. If your entire workforce is part-timers maybe treat them better? The turnover rate is so high that you will end up working alone due to the lack of staff, how to go toilet or go for a break? Shady management practices as well, everything is by word or text, no food hygiene course for workers, especially when we are serving food. One of the bosses is actually a perv, he randomly touches female workers.
