Pros

Most of the people are really great to work with and there are some really cool clients within the PR team.

Cons

There is a lot of dysfunction among the teams, management, and how everyone is supposed to work together. There is no growth opportunity for anyone outside of the PR teams (I don’t know anyone outside of PR that has received a promotion in the past 5 years). I would also be careful about joining the company in general as the company is having financial issues with multiple redundancies happening throughout the past few years within various teams including PR, the creative team, and digital marketing team along with having no opportunity to get a raise or bonuses. The process of how the teams work together is very convoluted and sometimes one job can end up involving so many ideas and opinions from different people that it becomes messy. I also don’t think some of the roles are defined which causes interruptions in work processes and friction when working with other people. They also prioritise giving internships to the children of clients and so seem to value nepotism over hard work or giving opportunities to under-represented individuals. If you work in PR you’ll have to deal with some very strong and demeaning personalities. Many people have expressed the desire to leave and I don’t blame them, it seems like the company in general (besides PR) is having a hard time and going downhill fast due to them struggling to find new clients and maintain current ones.
