Pros

Gain great experience of floor nurse in the only major hospital in the area. Unfortunately, only hire RN's now.

Cons

Call ins, no shows. Overall work ethic of CNA was troublesome. I worked my last two shifts as the only LPN, CNA for 6 patients due to call ins.

Pros

There are no pros to working for this company. They are all about self and the bottom line $$$$$.

Cons

They will work you to death with no appreciation, nurse to patient ratio is horrible. You will end up stressed out, worn down, and mentally whipped. If you try to leave, they will try their best to prevent you from obtaining another job by giving bad references. In my situation, I had all I could take, and left without giving a two week notice but I did finish my shift and clocked out. They were telling references that I simply walked off the job in the middle of my shift and if that were true, I would have lost my license. Needless to say, most prospective employers saw right through that and hired me anyway. Unless you plan on staying there until all your parts stop working, I would not work there, the only loyalty they have, is to themselves. The best thing there was the coworkers.
