Having come from roles in corporate and agency environments, I was a little apprehensive about joining a smaller company with a startup vibe, as was the case with Floify. Prior to my life at Floify, friends and former colleagues would openly share tales of their personal experiences with startups, as well as the sometimes unpredictable and chaotic nature of startup life, which were rarely positive stories. With all of this in the back of my mind, I was somewhat cautious about making the transition from the perceived safety of a corporate role to a smaller organization. Naturally, I just didn't know what to expect. Fortunately, I'm happy to report that my experience at Floify has far exceeded my expectations. Since joining Floify, the company's revenue and employee headcount have nearly doubled, and neither are showing any signs of slowing down. These stats alone have helped give peace of mind in knowing that I made the right decision to take this leap of faith. Perhaps one of the best things about being part of a successful and growing company like Floify is that you feel like you're making significant contributions to the future of the business. Unlike my experiences with corporate and agency roles, I'm now a member of a tight-knit family, instead of just another cog in a giant wheel. This alone makes me proud to come to work every day. In addition to the positive and encouraging atmosphere that Floify has become synonymous with, C-level management has 100% confidence in their staff's individual skills and unique abilities. They seek to hire the best of the best – self-motivated, Type-A personalities that don't need to be told what to do. Everyone at Floify inherently knows what they need to do to get the job done, and they make the magic happen. There's very little oversight, only incredible trust in knowing that everyone is doing their best to keep the company growing.
