Pros

During layoffs you can expect quick, decisive movements by leadership. During layoffs you can expect a very generous minimum severance package, During layoffs you are let go effective immediately so it gives you more time to update your resume and look for jobs. During layoffs you can expect all of your access to messages, emails, bookmarks, etc. has been removed before you even get off of your layoff call. So, if you’re looking for convenience when trying to say goodbye to colleagues, save personal information, and get people’s information in hopes they could help you find a new job… Look no further! This company and leadership in particular do not worry about you. They worry about their bottom line and if you’r just looking for a paycheck… well, maybe read my cons first

Cons

Layoffs aren’t done in the courteous industry-standard way being left to EOD Friday. You can expect yours to come early Monday morning or at their earliest convenience… maybe this really is a “Pro”.. who can argue with punctuality?
