They try very hard to do everything right. Trying to make their insurance company customers happy is next to impossible.

This company tries to use all the modern techniques in software development and grinding people into the ground. If you want to be belittled by the know it alls that run the show here then this place is for you.
The "worker bees" are a pretty good group of people that enjoy working together.
Cons
Many layoffs and people leaving the company due to lack of customers is turning the company upside-down. Hopefully things turn around before we're all on the street.

The company went through a reorganization last summer, and unfortunately some of the skills we needed to bring our product to market were not the same ones we need to go forward. We parted ways with amazing friends and coworkers who will always be part of the company's success. FirstBest does not lack customers and there have been no further reductions to our team.
