The Culture is Toxic

Pros

The product is good, from what I can tell. The new office is nice.

Cons

Lots of focus on metrics that leaders don’t really understand. Employees are stressed out trying to please management, instead of actually focusing on the right things. “Bro” culture. If you don’t fit into a certain demographic, you will have a hard time here. People are treated as disposable. If you slip up, you’re on the chopping block. But you are expected to stick it out with the company through thick and thin. Negative talk about people who leave. The leaders seem to have a weird mistrust of employees. They think you’re trying to get over on them. Leaders are not receptive to feedback.

Needs to Improve

Pros

*Free lunches once a week *Ambitious company and ambitious CEO *Business casual dress *Steady paycheck and has potential to be greater *Good benefits including 401k (after one year of employment...) *Decent work life balance...now

Cons

*Very "bro" culture and unprofessional environment. Initially they say they are open to questions and honest feedback but you quickly learn asking questions and being honest will make you an outlier very quick. *Managers and some c-level executives lack accountability. Different departments are scrutinized and overworked based off of software bugs or inability to hit target numbers *Very little instructional feedback from managers to help you improve. Training is basic and not very instructional. Feels like it's designed to be "sink or swim." Not a great place to develop as a sales person. *Company is growing but the sales division really is not. Have seen multiple people placed on a "ramp" to get promoted but in reality have only seen 2 people promoted to an AE with close to a year since working here. Have seen easily over 50 people fired or "quit" because they were placed on an un-achievable pip...have also seen the company fire people because they were close to achieving their pip.

Huge Layoff Isn’t Surprising

Pros

Most of the employees are great. Most of the mid level management is great.

Cons

They’ve made terrible business decisions and some of the senior management is terrible too although they seem to have addressed that in this latest layoff.
