Pros

1-One of the most reputable and financial stable automotive groups to work for. 2- Sales Commission begins 25% front 5% back or $150 mini plus 5% back 3-Well funded group that reinvests in advertising and store improvements 4- organization prioritizes long term sales consultant success and provides some protection from individual store management. 5- free soda, coffee, donuts and snacks 6 - decent benefits and employee discounts on vehicles 7 - as far as dealerships are concerned theirs are as flexible in schedule and time off as any you can find

Cons

1- often takes too long to remove problem employees 2- a number of redundant paper documents to be filled out for each deal compared to other auto groups caused by organization's preference to error on the side of regulatory compliance rather than simplifying the process. 3- no company owned demo vehicles for any employees 4- at times, slow to adopt changes in industry with bureaucratic resistance 5- opportunity for advancement for sales consultants limited, tenure means little, talent matters but attitude alone seems to be a foundation for upward mobility 6- no tuition reimbursement and little to no compensation for annual job required training

Pros

Lots of money to be made if you're good!

Cons

This is referring to the Chevy branch in Tampa... They expect you to train every single day even if you are a seasoned veteran, regardless of how many cars you sell. They expect you to use scripted canned speeches that includes a tiresome robotic 3 minute intro! Verbally abusive management. Expected to work bell to bell (open to close) until you put out 8 cars...even if you have a proven record there to sell 10+ every month! Sales meetings are on a Friday morning so you are expected to come in if it is your day off, unpaid of course since you are a commissioned sales person. Also if you work the late schedule you still have to come in early on Friday. Even though the full sales force works bell to bell on Saturday, they choose to inconvenience their sales people and make them all come in for that meeting on Friday, rather than switch it to Saturday. Makes zero sense!

Pros

People are nice and good work environment

Cons

Worse paying Service Advisor job out there. I left a Ferman Acura and went to Honda and was a $10k raise. You get paid from a draw in service. Who does that? That's what happens, when you have lawyers running a car company. Their is a reason why they are always hiring Service Advisors, check the ads lol. They just do pay what other dealerships are.
