Pros

The only benifits at this point is the employees, however they are leaving fast.

Cons

Underpaid and not given enough support or direction. Management uses the concept of "flat structure" to avoid having to make changes themselves, instead reyling on employees to try and change things, when changes are proposed however management does not provide the tools needed to make them happen. Changes that get done are because single employees do the work themselves and force it out. No consistent coding style or pattern is implemented across the company, and the same is true of the git structure followed. Code reviews, test driver development, and documentation is an after thought. Knowladge sharing is so unbeliable lacking that if you don't know what everyone is doing at any given time you don't have any idea who to ask for help. The company seems to have not recgonised that it has grown a lot since it started, and things such as knowing who will know things, or the CTO having enough time to resolve all problems, are no longer viable solutions. Several older projects are understaffed and at serious risk of losing all knowlaged if one of a few key people leave, a problem that has been presistent for years and has not been resolved, despite the comapany's large push to hire new people. Attitude towards people leave is likewise idiotic, with leavers not being giving enough time to do suficcient knoladge transfer despite the 12 week notice period, with one recent leave not being allowed to even tell their own team they where leaveing for most of the period leading to the team not being able to plan around it. Simulary clients are kept in the dark about this for what I would think is far too long a period. Too many jobs in the company rely on a single person, and management is apparentlly ingorant of this fact, claiming that the projects can be picked up by a small handful of senior employees, who clearly do not want to be stuck with old legacy projects. Some projects also experince very little crossover with others, and I cannot recommend anyone work here unless you are strong willed enough to refuse to be placed on these such projects, since due to all the skills being not tranferable to the other projects, and the none of the other emplyoees having the skills to take over from you, you will feel trapped without any hope of upwards motion despite how many skills you have to learn as the only maintainer. While the company bosts a training budget, there is always constant work pressures which prevent people from taking time to use it to further their skills, and there is little room for learning new things on the job while under the constant pressure to produce work. The "Work from home" listed in on the comapny's job listsing is laughable compared to what most companies offer these days, as management have actually removed this from newer contracts, and are pushing hard to get people back into the office. This is done under the guise of being better for "the mental health" of employees, however the mental health support plan of employees is woefully inadquate. The comapny seeming to belive that simply talking is sutiable, or that offering emplyoees the ability to work part time, persumable with a pay cut to match, is reasonable ignoring the fact that they already underpay their employees. Things have only been going down hill following the clear course merger, with management seeming to care less about the employees while bosting higher profits as time goes on. Clearcourse's usefullness is let to prove useful, and so far all they have done is try to force an overly confusing, and it would seem unwanted, contract change from down on high that seems to disregard Felinesofts flat working ideals. A contract that emplyoees got no forewarning of and which they are heavily insentivied to sign as it includes the new benifits, meanwhile other benifits that wern't inshrined in the contract, such as the christmas bonus and open bar at the yearly parties, have vanished with no explination.

Pros

A lot of different technologies are used. The pace projects are run at can be extremely fast at times.

Cons

Unrealistic deadlines for the work load. Misleading of clients and staff. Refusal to listen to staff. Always looking to make money over doing things right.

Thank you for taking the time to give your feedback and we're sorry that you felt it necessary to leave such negative criticism. Felinesoft is an open company- to the extent that all our clients have full access to our team foundation server, warts and all. This makes it impossible to deceive our clients as they can see everything we do. This is key to our company values of openness and honesty. As with all project delivery companies we must commit to deadlines, in our case these are based on estimates directly from the development team,. We appreciate this is hard to get right but we work with our team and clients to balance the complex demands of software delivery to a given deadline. We will continue to push for quality in our delivery while holding onto our values that has kept delivering great work for over 15 years.
