      Low wages, no benefits, cynical culture

      Permissive remote work policy, central location

      Cons

      Poor pay and no benefits (no pension plan, no 6th vacation week, no additional insurance). No room for negotiation either, have been told several times salary reviews "are not a discussion". Limited career growth, and promotions do not necesarily come with a raise. HR department is defensive and dismissive, it can feel powerless from employees perspective to voice any complaint. Overall culture feels like people are giving up, with a high turnover rate

      Potentially a sinking ship?

      Pros

      Very flexible work life balance. Quarterly team events, and a well stocked beer fridge.

      Cons

      Crap pay. Culture has become full of people who hate working there. Company is full of really great people, but the HR department are out of touch an unapproachable.

      The Underpaid Culture

      Pros

      Remote work is allowed (sometimes, they're also taking that away now), to encourage the "culture".

      Cons

      - Insane bureaucracy - Minimal transparency -Diversity department consisting of white people - No benefits - Full-time employees get a new "fancy" title but no raise - No pensions for part-time or full-time employees - Top management consisting of white men only
