Ugh.

Pros

You can make your own schedule, more or less.

Cons

Upper management is nothing but micromanaging abusers. The supervisors are residents in counseling trying to tell licensed clinicians how to do their jobs. The CEO himself only has a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice he got back in the 1970s. Honestly, it should be illegal to run a mental health agency with no licensure or background in the field. Pay is almost criminally low, benefits only if you do 40 direct hours of client care. Everyone who has been in the field for longer tells me to leave this agency because they've been incredibly exploitative. No steady hours. They don't care about their therapists or their clients. They have not paid their employees several times and missed paychecks several times. There's been talk of the business going bankrupt.

Pros

Sadly, there are no positives to this company.

Cons

Family Insight does not pay their employees on time. Their late pay is intermittent and they place blame on a payroll employee who has since moved on. The company could care less about employees. They lie to get you to sign on with them. They will make promises they are never going to keep. They are committing ABA fraud and should be shut down. RUN - please - do not apply. It is beyond a poor work environment. I cannot put into words how bad this company is.

Not a good employer

Pros

Pay is good and better than other companies

Cons

Family Insight sucks you in with the good pay but what they don't tell you is that most of what you will be earning is indirect, which is minimum wage. The turnover rate is crazy, the benefits are horrible and there are no guaranteed hours. If a client cancels then you will not have hours. This is one of the worst companies to work for, they do not care about their clients at all. The pay is late a lot of the time, supervisors don't know what they are doing and there are no resources or help when asked for. No one is allowed to bill for over 40 hours, it is not allowed even if you worked over 40 hours.
