Unprofessional Toxic Female COO Boss

Pros

Thankfully, we do not need to see the female COO boss everyday! Staffs in every subsidiary office detest her as her mannerism is couth and lowly.

Cons

The female COO boss (a Taiwanese lady) is the most toxic boss one can get. She scolds vulgarities and degrades the staffs loudly every single day. She does not respect the staffs as individuals or human beings and uses her emotions and illogical reasoning. She throws her temper at staffs when they do not agree with her. She hires and fires staffs as she pleases as there is no SOP in this company. It has become "part of the company culture" and the HR staffs are so used to doing it 'every other day'. The HR or the immediate boss will not stand up for their staffs, as they will run the risk of angering her and thereby losing their jobs.  The HR is practically useless as they do not help staffs but are only YES people to her notoriety and atrociousness. There is hardly any external training or good staff benefits. Even the 13th month bonus is subject to her "good mood" and whether she likes you or not. If she doesn't, its too bad, you will not get it and they will just give you some crappy excuses. And dont worry that you will be late for your appointment on public holiday eves, because there is NO HALF DAY LEAVE given for public holiday eves, i.e. you would have to work FULL DAY 9am to 6pm on Christmas eve, New Year eve, Lunar New Year eve etc!! If you are lucky that she is in a "good mood", you may be able to get 1 or 2 hours off. Otherwise, good luck that you just need to apply and use your own leave. Can't believe that there are still such inhumane bosses in the world and that the company is still running.    The HR is so busy every single day tabulating every single staff, on how late you are, or whether you "leave early' and will text you to inform you that you are 5 minutes late or 2 hours short, and ask you to make up for it.
