Cons

Extend / Extend The Ad Network / Extend CIB This company is, frankly, a disaster. They have laid off more than 100 employees in the last six months under the pretext of "restructuring" and "cost reduction," despite simultaneously hiring a team in China at a significantly higher cost and, in my opinion, with far lower quality. When employees are terminated, they are given only three months of compensation regardless of how much time remains on their contract. On top of that, they require employees to sign a resignation letter and another document stating that they have received all their dues and waive any future legal claims against the company. Employees are expected to sign everything before receiving any payment. Half of the company's problems would disappear if the Saudi CTO left. He has very limited understanding of the field, yet constantly imposes his opinions regardless of feedback. If someone proposes an idea that contradicts what he wants, he often looks for reasons to push them out. He frequently denies statements he previously made, even when they are documented. He simply refuses to acknowledge them and attempts to twist the narrative. The company lacks the competence required to manage operations professionally. Instead, management relies on pressuring employees and pushing them to their limits without clear deadlines, proper planning, or realistic project management. The result is a constant state of stress and burnout. I personally witnessed many talented managers and employees resign because of this environment, with some remaining unemployed afterward due to the difficult job market. The culture is extremely toxic. People constantly shift responsibility and blame onto others to avoid accountability themselves. To be completely clear, my experience with this company was entirely negative. What's even worse is that employees can be terminated simply for pointing out that a technical approach is wrong or that a better solution exists. The company used to spend heavily to attract and retain talent. Now, taking advantage of the current market conditions, there are no meaningful salary increases, no overtime compensation, and employees are made to feel grateful just for receiving their salary. Ultimately, there is no clear vision, no respect for expertise, and no appreciation for professional input. This creates a deeply unhealthy work environment. In short, if you're looking for a stable, professional company with long-term prospects, think very carefully before considering a job there.

Cons

Upper level technical managers are not very tech savy. They follow trends and ignore the basics. Even junior and mid level engineers seem to understand and know more which is very frustrating when discussing technical decisions.
