Pros

There are some truly good people that work for this company. The problem is they arent in positions to make changes to what needs to be changed. -Jewish holidays off

Cons

Where to start, i guess at the beginning. -I was lied to at my interview about my hours, I was told I would be working a 9-5, then turned to 9-530, then turned to 830-530. -HR and upper management are VERY impartial from employee to employee. Certain genders and religions are treated and compensated MUCH different. for example I know Jewish employees who were given more money and better pay structures to do the same job than other employees even though they had less experience. - They are VERY strict on how much time you spend working and taking a break. So much so that they installed cameras that overlook every work station and HR is checking them constantly. - Even though they are very strict with time spent breaking, every Jewish employee is allowed to break for 30 mins from 3-330 to pray. -Also the Jewish employees get to leave an hour to an hour and a half earlier on Fridays for some bs reason of "having to be home before the sunsets" even though they leave at 230 in the summer and 130 in the winter... - They also have internet filters on every single website that doesnt have something to do with lighting. So there will be no staying at your desk and surfing the web during lunch. -Speaking of lunch, they recently started making all HOURLY EMPLOYEES (the only employees who arent hourly are Jewish coincidentally) clock out for lunch, so depending on pay on average they are taking 2-3k out of your yearly earnings. -There is parking available in the garage but its basically a seniority thing so expect to spend 20 mins looking for parking every morning. -Cell phones are NO LONGER ALLOWED. Another lovely new rule is cell phones are to be on vibrate and placed AWAY in a drawer or in your pocket, and never touched. -You will receive a raise after 3 months and promised a year end review, and not given another raise unless you push for it around the year and a half mark. -Benefits have to be paid for on your own and they are CRAZY EXPENSIVE like 20% of your bi-weekly paycheck expensive, and theres no 401k. -Place is clean but disgusting at the same time. They have a cleaning woman who comes once a week, but the building has a mice and roach problem. There was a giant roach on one of the desks recently when we came in the morning, and nothing can be left in the bottom drawers because rats will chew through and eat it so no snack drawer for you. Now for ways they are cheap. -Walls have holes in them, need paint, ceilings falling apart and leaks in front of their main staircase. -They dont allow coffee after 330 because they dont wanna make any coffee that doesnt get finished by the end of the day. -Only the boss gets to use the large Styrofoam cups so you have to make 70 trips back and forth if you want a normal glass of water. -In the summer the AC doesnt work well so the office gets up to roughly 80 degrees. In the winter its pretty cold so most people have hoodies at their desks. I think that just about covers most of their issues. IM SURE im forgetting something but this is BY FAR the worst most mismanaged company i have ever worked for in my life and thats why the turnover rate is so crazy.
