Pros
The company has a great product (for 2% of their intended market) Coffee is free (for now). There were some great colleagues who you met working here. Nice office space in the centre of Hamburg.
Cons
The culture and success of the company has been on a steady decline for the last 12 months with no feasible way of turning this around. The level of support, that was previously in place from CEOs and Executive team, no longer exists and you are actively told to not reach out to HR. It has become a case of, "If I dont see it, it hasnt happened" The culture has now become ruled by fear, intimidation and bullying has become the norm. No clear direction from the top, decisions are being made on a reactive and emotional basis with little or no backup or forethought to the actual impact which causes mass confusion. Regular reduction in commissions & bonuses (4 changes in the last 12 months) with no actual clear reasoning as to why and when challenged you will be highlighted and life will become very uncomfortable for you. No investment in product or service that is being offered to clients, with very under funded customer facing teams and real lack of camaraderie. The literal day to day working environment has become uncomfortable, unsupportive, unfairly stressful and the remaining employees that are left have little or no desire to help the company achieve their goal as they are being squeezed and squeezed for more while receiving less and less support and acknowledgment.
