We’re really glad to hear that you felt well-supported and found the work interesting—that’s something we work hard to foster.
At the same time, we’re sorry that certain aspects of your experience didn’t meet your expectations. As a specialist travel marketing company, we do tend to hire people who have a strong interest in travel, as we’ve found this leads to the best outcomes for our clients. That being said, we appreciate that different people bring different strengths to the team.
Regarding the team bonus, we regret any misunderstanding. All details about the bonus structure are outlined in our handbook, and any changes are transparently discussed and agreed upon by the whole team. Since its inception, the bonus has been based on the financial health of the business and has always been fully available to those who have been with us for at least a year. We wish we had known about any concerns at the time so we could have clarified them directly.
While we understand that not everyone looks for a social element in their workplace, we do believe that fostering strong team connections leads to better collaboration, a more positive work environment, and improved well-being. That’s why we run quarterly team-building events, such as a company retreat, and a Christmas party, alongside optional office working incentives. This said we are committed to hybrid working.
