Pros
The job itself is fast-paced and self-directed. Your team becomes your family.
Cons
I have witnessed discrimination based on sexual orientation, including threatening someone's job for completely invalid reasons, as well as nasty personal digs in front of other employees. They even let a queer employee go claiming the position was obsolete, but ended up filling it with a heterosexual cis employee right after. I have witnessed management give someone a hard time and threaten his job security for taking the bereavement that he was entitled to.. via text message. I have witnessed them do the same to several employees who had new babies and needed to rearrange their schedules for things like doctors' appointments. I am also questioning the legality (if not just general ethical behavior) of their relationship with HR. They tell HR everything and HR tells them everything. If someone goes to HR with an issue, they actually get into trouble because management will 100% hear about it. There is 0 discretion. This is the tip of the iceberg.
