Pros

Great place to work with a supportive environment I’ve really enjoyed my time here. The office environment is nice and welcoming, making it easy to settle in and focus on the job. Management is understanding and genuinely supportive, which makes a huge difference day-to-day. There are good incentives for doing well, which motivates you to push yourself, and the commission structure is fair and transparent. Plus, once you’re established, there are flexible work-from-home options that help with work-life balance. Overall, it’s a stable company that values its people and creates an environment where you can grow and succeed.

Cons

Recruitment isn’t for everyone, but my experience has been positive Recruitment is a tough job, especially when you’re starting out. It’s not always easy, and if you don’t perform well, it can be challenging and less enjoyable. I know the company sometimes gets a bad reputation because of this. However, I can only speak from my own experience, and it has been nothing but positive so far. The management is supportive, the incentives motivate me, and there’s a real sense of stability. It’s definitely a role that requires resilience, but if you’re prepared to put in the effort, the environment here is fair and encouraging.

Pros

Very nice building and the breakfast options/fresh fruit were great. Training was okay in the sense that I've worked at other recruiters where it's non-existent. Very heavily dependent on dropping rep's in front of a computer screen. Majority of senior staff had started out as entry level reps, but also worked 12 hours a day 5 days a week and would drink on lunches/after work, which doesn't personify a very healthy worklife in my opinion. Met some great people there, but the majority of those that were great and present when I was on boarded were no longer with the business by the time I left.

Cons

However it's nothing more special than your typical first few months to assess whether new hires (who are mostly hired from outside of industry) float or sink and get to stick around or get sacked type of recruitment company. Owner had some very choice words for me the second time I'd ever met him, suggesting I should, "Eff off to another recruitment company" for my lack of love for ringing a bell to alert the office floor every time a placement was made (basic job function). And referred to our outbound Director who had been with the business for 14 years as having been a "good subservient" before blaming him for the team not performing to his desired standard - which was strange as most of us where trainees (first 6 months) and were billing. His main suggestions for us to improve were ringing the bell, doing 2 "power hours" a day (no sitting down, no breaks, just non stop dials, which does help output but shouldn't need to be conscripted to twice a day) and for people to come in early and leave later in the day - so groundbreaking stuff.

Pros

- Trips away, monthly lunch clubs and socials - Opportunity to earn good commission on top of a good basic salary - Good social atmosphere in the office - Weekly incentives for food and drinks in the office

Cons

- Must be prepared to work outside of your contracted hours - Can be tedious when it’s quiet - No perks / benefits really in your contract apart from commission
