Pros

- To understand what company you should never work for - If you are doing research on how to survive toxic management

Cons

Where to start.. - Issues swept under the rug and then made out as if management never heard of them - MD has the final say in EVERYTHING that goes on in the company, the CEO has no power whatsoever despite promises to have your back. It would have been fine if the MD actually was fair, caring and intelligent. Instead, everyone is facing Stalin-regime-like attitude. - Promotions given to people with zero skills in the relevant department or abilities to lead by example - Great salary and benefits if you are the MD's pal. For anyone starting out in junior roles - don't even bother applying! - Salaries at the lowest end of the range. When asking for promotion or payrise, despite all of your achievements you might get a £30 per month (after tax). Unless you decide to leave and they REALLY REALLY need you, then you might have a counter-offer and empty promises of shares. - Don't even get me started on shares - apparently everyone has them, but there is no proof or any documentation.. The company's been on "route to sell" for the last 10-13 years, wasting money on various 'propositions' that never pay out. Every year the CEO promises that the company will sell in '2 years'.. - Lots of unethical processes and company not adhering to basic Health & Safety rules, people not being able to return from maternity leave to their roles because they are taken by someone else. During COVID people were forced to come into the office despite it not being safe for social distancing or come in with COVID symptoms because they weren't allowed to work from home. - Speaking out the truth and raising concerns will put you on the blacklist, with bullying from senior managers or the CEO having a "private chat" with you. Honestly, everyone who worked there could write a book about all of these!

Pros

Only pros are the normal staff, certainly not management!

Cons

Late wages. No real management, those that try haven’t got a clue! Terrible communication.
