There are different time zones so you would have to have a shift according to the time zone which means it could be late at night or early in the morning.
Learned so much about my preferred field - orthopedics - which greatly contributed to my schooling and ability to retain relevant information for exams. The staff I worked with were extremely kind and helpful, always available when I had questions. Management was wonderful throughout the onboarding process. It was also great to be able to work from the comfort of my home and be available for my kids as needed.
Cons
Pay is sooo low especially if you end up with a provider that uploads long dictations. Pay is per chart and I ended up with a provider that posted 30 minute dictations often. That resulted in my overall chart per day count being significantly lower than I'd like. This resulted in lower pay.
