Pros

- Great company vision and what they are trying to achieve in saving lives - Really felt like I was making a difference within the company no matter how small the tasks may have seemed as it contributed towards the bigger picture - Smaller company. This allows for greater responsibility and ability to create change, rather than just being a 'number' like in larger companies - Good career progression. After working here for >2.5 years it was challenging but learnt a lot - Really nice office, location also right opposite Hammersmith Tube Station and had access to lots of bars - Had a good set of colleagues and really sociable outside of work hours - Really enjoyed working with the team, will also miss the laughter coming from the marketing area!

Cons

- Not enough structure in place with priorities always changing with lack of resource and direction due to growing company - Sometimes it did feel like we were being "told off" as a result of actions of some individuals; and so created a negative atmosphere at times (good intentions but not executed in the right way) All smaller technology companies have similar challenges and pains; but changes are slowly being made to improve the points above

Thanks for your comments. I know it did feel sometimes that we were trying to fix the plane while flying it, and that we are more reactive than pro-active. Appreciate too that you recognised that were trying to improve, to listen and to move forward. During your 2.5 years with us, together we probably saved >100 women's lives through improving cancer screening, not many jobs you get to do that in.....so will take positive critique like yours every hour of every day, suck it up, shoulder the burden and try to be just a little better.
