Pros

New facility, new labs, nice vending machine

Cons

The company has experienced consecutive years of financial losses, reflecting ongoing challenges at an organizational level. Leadership positions within the government segment have increasingly been filled by executives from the parent company, leading to noticeable shifts in direction. A decline in company culture and a lack of strategic continuity are apparent. It's disheartening to witness the decline of what was once a standout organization into one that is now best approached with caution.

Pros

Great people to work with, low stress, treated as a professional

Cons

Went on a massive hiring spree in 2022 only have significant lay-offs in 2024. I'm not sure how the company is doing, but I get the sense it's not well.

Pros

• Flexible hybrid work environment allowing very good work/life balance.

Cons

• Chaotic hiring and vague unverified projects, intervention and control of parent company that eventually lead to massive layoffs and departure of senior leaders. • Poor projects planning, lack of technology resources, chaotic labs and too much use of excel sheets instead of modern frameworks. • Wrong inexperienced bureaucrats' non technical managers whom only contributed to a toxic political work environment. • Lack of internal technical documentation & outdated product external ones. • Internal processes do not exist, too much of relying on verbal instructions. • Career growth does not exist, bonus is very poor. • Engineers are allowed to work in groups and marginalize other ones whom they don’t like or do no belong to their culture leaving them simply uniformed and out of the loop. • Marketing tries to influence employees' reviews on DC Companies Best Place to Work Survey by sending so many emails motivating for participation & putting a positive review as well as offering food celebrations. • Personal violations, disrespect, bullying, poor language, poor attire and cursing are very common.
