Pros
Lots of smart, driven young people to work with Company culture encourages innovation and achievement Lots of opportunities of learning and Promotion Company often hires people with little experience, giving young professionals a good way to start their career
Cons
Company culture promotes 0 work life balance--people are literally berated and bad-mouthed for not working (most often unpaid) overtime Management makes promises which are never kept Innocent people are scapegoated for the bad decisions of management No independent HR system to speak of Little to no training for assigned tasks Company operates on chronic under-staffing in all departments Independent thought on all but a very narrow range of issues is discouraged Company asks its employees to write (fake) reviews on Glassdoor People are treated as disposable Promotions are handed out based on dire need and not on necessarily on merit (this one is on and off) Problems are only dealt with after they arise, little or no pre-planning is made Lack of enough employees causes constant atmosphere of emergency Lack of training, enough people, and guidelines causes major stress for operations (project management, customer service, engineering, and field techs)
