Pros
Every person who is in the workforce dreams of finding a job that is the right fit for them. Unfortunately for the majority that doesn’t happen, but I got lucky. Before iCapture I was answering to the corporate behemoth. I struggled with the expectation of herd mentality, lack of innovation, and resistance to change. I was unfulfilled knowing my value as an employee and person were solely determined by numbers. I couldn’t fit the mold. iCapture couldn’t be more different. The interview process was quick and focused. Leadership goes the extra mile to make sure that the people they are bringing on the team are the right fit by looking at both professional skills and personality to ensure they will be successful in a fast paced startup environment. When I first started at iCapture, I was a little hesitant opening up and feeling comfortable out of fear but was welcomed with more than open arms and I could tell that I was now apart of a truly supportive team. The startup vibe is very apparent and there is shared interest from the top-down wanting everyone to succeed as a collective and as an individual. You are given a lot of responsibility and autonomy from the beginning and are given the resources needed to excel quickly. The iCapture culture is built on compassion, empathy, and transparency. There is a genuine interest and investment in their employees professionally but more importantly, everyone is valued as a person. Everyone at iCapture has a voice and leadership has created an environment where every voice is heard, questions are answered, and ideas are listened too. This is a company that fosters creativity, supports its employees, and truly believes in helping others. Leadership encourages out of the box thinking and is always trying to find ways to raise the bar. Change isn’t feared, but is viewed as a catalyst for opportunity and growth. The team at iCapture is constantly looking for ways on how we can be better. How we can set the standard, become thought leaders, how we can better serve our clients, and how we can be the best versions of ourselves. Every person on the team has the opportunity and ability to have a huge impact on the company if they want to. You create your own opportunities and if you ask “how high?” the response will be there is no limit. We win as a team, grow as a team, and if we fail, fail fast and learn. You get what you give. The more you put into iCapture and yourself, the more you learn, grow, and succeed professionally and personally.
Cons
iCapture is changing and growing which isn't a con but with that comes some growing pains.
