Pros

Manager / RVP Level down has great, reasonable, intelligent, and hardworking people. Years 2015-2018 were a great time to be at the company. You had a CEO to believe in and senior leadership, while not perfect, cared about the employees and the customers. Now, you can be happy that they have an overpriced foodcourt on the premises. Oh wait, it's 2020.... they don't make you pay for your own zoom license?

Cons

Above all else, there is no benefit to your labor there. Your leadership will expect accountability for your results for nigh unattainable quotas except the top 2 reps on each team. So don't expect a full bonus check. What's more is that they are not offering any equity stake in the company. This is a cash grab / golden goose asset for the Vista Equity. A company with a ~$1B valuation, and no employee equity for impending sale = more money for executives and for Vista. That's why leadership grinds people to dust while constantly making mistakes that they aren't held accountable to. They are throwing the proverbial scat against the wall to see what sticks and blaming their direct reports for their mismanagement. No employee equity for a company angling to get bought in the next 2 years means that everyone's employment is at risk in 24 months and with nothing to show for it except for a tenure at a semi-well-known brand in HR Tech with below market wages. It is a ruthless place to work. Front line managers do their best to protect you, but leadership above that constantly shift your priorities and then ask why you aren't performing well. The company lacks strategic focus. That lack of strategic focus extends to their product. They had a vision for what the service could be. But the main hub, the ATS, is so old, that it takes them forever to actually innovate that product. Thus comes some poorly scoped acquisitions with no real idea on how to integrate them. They have had 2 CRMs for over a year and the only reason why is because they can't figure out how to legitimately integrate the new CRM (formerly called "Nurture" now just "CRM") at an enterprise scale with their own ATS. I could go on, but suffice it to say that the product no longer "sells itself." The recent rebrand is a reboot of the reorganization that took place in October last year when they went with their "3 Suite" approach. It's the same products that they acquired that don't work well together just less starkly divided. Beware the vaporware of their AI/ML capabilities... doubtful that any of it is actually functional at this point. People cannot wait to leave the company, the lion's share of the positive reviews you see on here to boost their rating is a part of their onboarding process to pad when negative reviews like this come through. Since they are expanding their operations to Denver (so the CEO doesn't have to come to NJ when the pandemic is over), folks in the NJ office should be ready for their jobs and departments to be switched out there. So sad to see what was once a good company get gutted to become the soulless husk that it is. Even the mascot, Ike, has been stripped down into a hello-kitty knockoff with an attempt at late 90's 3D graphics.

Pros

My team was very committed to our customers and very collaborative with each other. Everyone was kind to each other, and historically there had been opportunities for mentorship and career development.

Cons

Unclear expectations from leadership. We always felt like we were trying to play catch up with how things were changing. We also always felt like we were underpaid.
