Thank you for taking the time to share your experience; we really value honest feedback. It’s great to hear that you’ve felt the positive impact of becoming part of Helios Technologies in 2023. We’ve intentionally invested in our people, our benefits, and the overall employee experience. We’re especially proud that our benefits offerings are now recognized nationally as top-tier, and it’s encouraging to see that in your feedback. You also called out something we care deeply about: having a supportive, engaged leadership team. As an operating company within Helios, we’ve gained access to broader resources and opportunities while still maintaining the close-knit, collaborative environment that comes with being a smaller organization. We believe that balance creates meaningful opportunities for impact and visibility that can be harder to find in larger companies. That said, we hear your feedback around growth opportunities. As we continue to evolve, building on our 30 years in business and the incredible talent across our team, we’re actively focused on expanding development paths and creating new ways for employees to grow their careers with us and within the broader Helios organization for those who are interested.

Pros

none, I wish I turned the position down.

Cons

There was a co-worker there who actively sabotages your work while feeding false information to your boss. I had a co-work undo code fixes with-out talking to anyone. They brought me on to finish a project then let me go when the project was finishing up, looking back it's now obvious. I was working on new frameworks I have never used before, but was expected to be an expert. I thought I was joining a vibrant company and was going to grow and learn new tech. Turned out to be; get everything done to keep a client happy and reduce cost overruns on a bad bid for the project. I have never been so stressed at a company before.
