Pros
Got to go to NYC for Super Bowl Weekend but had to pay my own way.
Models came into the office sometimes, so that was nice.
Cons
Where to start...
1. Over worked and underpaid - Worked probably an average of 60 hours a week (including weekends) and got paid just a bit over minimum wage. The owner/boss constantly promised a higher salary and constantly didn't deliver on that promise.
2. Boss would constantly blame the staff - The staff would constantly get berated for things that either we had no idea about or if something happened the staff would get blamed. This is a terrible way to run a company. The boss always took the the accolades and gave the blame to the employees.
3. Would often have to pay for our own expenses and then not got reimbursed for weeks or not at all.
4. Always would talk to us through g-chat instead of walking the few feet into the various offices to talk to the employees.
5. Would have to focus on the big clients and let the small ones suffer because they had more money - there wasn't much in the way of prioritizing the clients. Some would get a lot of attention and some who needed a lot of attention wouldn't get any. However, the company care, as long as their check cleared.
6. Employed about eight full time staff members and a bunch of interns. The interns did the bulk of the work and the owner wouldn't both learning their names. Even the full time employees were over worked with little to no appreciation for the work that was being done and the life outside of work that was given up on.
7. There were rumors of pending lawsuits from past clients due to lack of services rendered and money "missing."
8 Staff would often pick up the slack while the owner/boss was away from the office due to personal reasons, often on Friday's, which was pay day.
